Plastic-Mulch Lifter
The Plastic-Mulch Lifter is designed to retrieve plastic mulch after the crop has been harvested. The 'plow shares' attached to its left and right shanks dig underneath a 3- to 5-foot-wide mulch strip, essentially lifting it up to the surface of the ground where it can then be hand- or machine-removed. The implement comes with spring-loaded trash and vine-cutting disks, a removable center disk to cut the plastic in the middle (if desired), a set of depth control wheels, and safety shear bolts for the shanks. An auto-reset accessory is optional.
