Sit-Down Woodturning Lathe
Designed to accommodate a wheelchair user or one unable to stand for long periods of time, the Sit-Down Woodturning Lathe is not only height-adjustable (up to 6 inches), but also has a pivoting bed that can be tilted toward the seated turner (up to 45 degrees) for better access to the work. A chair on casters allows one who has some use of the legs to move laterally as the spindle progresses, whereas the wheelchair user simply repositions the chair with the needs of the work.
