Stone Burier
The Stone Burier is used for the seedbed preparation of soil, including hard, clay, stony, and residue-covered. It works as follows-(1) the reverse-drive tiller digs into the ground to loosen the soil, stones, and debris; (2) this material is lifted over the tilling rotor and thrown into screening bars behind the rotor; (3) the bars separate the soil from the stones/debris; (4) the stones/debris is forced to the bottom of the till depth, with the soil falling on top; (5) a leveling board then spreads the soil over the stones/debris; followed by (6) a packing roller, which smoothes the soil, preparing it for planting. The towing vehicle is usually a compact or larger tractor, depending on size and complexity of the Stone Burier.
