This can be particularly helpful for workers who cannot see well. The Pulmipur 6005 (intended primarily for small growers and homeowners) has a long handle with a dome that shields the spray nozzle. A triggered handle starts and stops the sprayer and holds a 1-liter chemical container. The device is powered by two D-cell batteries. The Herbidome 350 (generally used in larger area-operations) is configured like the Pulmipur sprayer, except that the dome rotates along with the dispensing mechanism and both the power source (larger battery) and chemical container (5- or 10-liter) are housed in a backpack.
