Homemade Garden Tractor/ATV Servicing Rack
Homemade Garden Tractor/ATV Servicing Rack

So that everything is up high enough to reach easily, Harold Davis of Trenton, TN, built a Servicing Rack from 11/2-inch steel tubing and 11/2-inch angle iron. It consists of (1) a 4-foot by 8-foot frame mounted on four 25-inch-high legs, (2) a pair of 8-foot-long accessing ramps at one end, (3) a 12-inch-high "stop bar" at the other, (4) a pair of 12-inch wide sliding ramps that can be moved anywhere inside the frame (to accommodate whatever equipment he needs to work on), and (4) a ladder that attaches anywhere on the outside of the rack if he has to reach higher. Laying a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood on top of the rack converts it into a work table.
